Michael Douglas Coltrane passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in Cle Elum, Washington. Michael was born August 10, 1948 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

After high school he enlisted the Marine Corps from 1966 to 1972. He moved to Washington after his service and settled in Cle Elum, Washington for the past 20 years. He was a mechanic for the postal service for 28 years and retired in 2011.

Michael was preceded in death by Jaye Dee Coltrane (2010) and his favorite cat Red who passed away last year. Survived by...

Michael Douglas Coltrane passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in Cle Elum, Washington. Michael was born August 10, 1948 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

After high school he enlisted the Marine Corps from 1966 to 1972. He moved to Washington after his service and settled in Cle Elum, Washington for the past 20 years. He was a mechanic for the postal service for 28 years and retired in 2011.

Michael was preceded in death by Jaye Dee Coltrane (2010) and his favorite cat Red who passed away last year. Survived by his daughter Rebecca and grand-daughter Cassandra from Yakima and brothers Steve, Robert and sister in law Dee, his nephews Gary, Bobby all of North Carolina and his mother in law Karen Shafer of Tacoma Washington. Lastly his two surviving cats; Pinkie and George who will miss him dearly.

He had a great sense of humor and loved a good comeback. He enjoyed working on his cars and fixing things. His close circle of loved ones will miss him and his conversations, but will never forget him.
